An Eggs-cellent Way to Plan

For one my group had great chemistry, we all were open to diferent ideas. We all decided that we each come up with something and see what worked best basically we used the Step 4 and we made a plan. And we all agreed on the egg spaceship. Basically we knew that we only had 10 minutes so we had to think fast, so by the time we got the supplies we had our spaceship idea ready. All that was left was to put it together and we all worked together to make it perfect. Then we chose the shortest person to drop the egg, but it didnt work out. Even though our plan didn't work, we still had an effective team that got along. The only thing that we could have done was be a little more creative and that we should have questioned the professor more in order to figure out exactly what drop kind was okay.

Good job! Your group's tolerance for other's ideas certainly paid off. I admire the fact that you all worked together, like a well oiled machine. Unlike your group, my team was absolutely bigoted. In fact, we were all so narrow-minded that in the very beginning of the competition we quarreled over who's idea was best. By the time professor Kurpis gave out the supplies our "team" had 4 different ideas on the table, all undeveloped. It is peculiar how we also chose the shortest person to drop the egg, how this was the only decision my whole team agreed upon, and how ineffective this step was in saving the egg. 10 feet or 9 feet, almost no structure could protect the egg from such acceleration. Anyways, at least our teams didn't cheat by making those 10 feet long egg yo-yo's. We lost, but it was an honorable defeat!

Egg spaceship? hahaha. Mad cute. And I guess Beshir was your shortest person. lol. I also think we should have asked the professor to explain in further detail was he meant by "drop the contraption from 10 feet". At least most of the class had the same idea going and we all failed especially my group. =( Well it was all in good fun and I hope we do more little experiments like that.

I think that using all the available resources is very important, and asking the profesor is deffinately one of them. Our group took advantage of that and we learned everything we need to know. We even found out that we can staple the straws. I suggest that you take advantage of that next time as well.
